*Creating Reports

The report section of FleetAdmin allows you to generate detailed information over varying timelines about your Assets & Users to see how they are performing. The Reports will be emailed directly to the selected Users inbox.  

Click on link to see some of the more popular Report Types

Step 1 - Create a Report

  • Go to FleetAdmin
  • Reports
  • Click on Add New Report
  • A new page will open up enabling you to build the Report

Step 2 - Enter Report Settings

  • Report Name: What would you like the name of the alert to be?
  • Report Category: Filter available reports by category. eg. Safety, Compliance, etc.
  • Report Type: Pick from one of our preset report types. You can hover over the report to see a description of what the report is for.
  • Reporting Period: What time frame would you like the report to cover, or select a specific date range
  • Reporting Frequency: How often would you like to receive the report. You can set the frequency for auto generation or on demand to receive the report via email at the time of save
  • Geofence: If you have a Geofence set up, you can specify the report to generate on data for the specific Geofence
  • Division: If you have Divisions set up, you can specify the report to generate on data for the specific division
  • Fleet: Select the types of vehicles to be listed, light vehicles, plant, trucks, or equipment.
  • Output File Type: Select PDF or CSV. certain reports can only be generated as one or the other
  • Report Generating Time: What time would you like the report generated. We recommend a large report be generated overnight

Step 3 - Filter Reports by Assets & Asset Types

Asset Filter allows you to filter the Reports via individual Asset or Asset Types

Filter by Asset

  • Reports will be created for all Assets in the grey fields
  • Selecting an Asset from the white dropdown, will move the Asset into grey reporting fields
  • Click on the Screen_Shot_2021-12-07_at_10.42.43_am.png in the grey fields to exclude Assets from Reports & move excluded to the white dropdown options

Click on Select All from the white dropdown to move all Assets & Asset Types into the grey reporting field to report on entire fleet.

Filter by Asset Type

  • Reports will be created for all Assets Types in the grey fields
  • Selecting an Asset Type from the white dropdown, will move the Asset Type into grey reporting fields
  • Click on the Screen_Shot_2021-12-07_at_10.42.43_am.png in the grey fields to exclude Assets Types from Reports & move excluded to the white dropdown options

Click on Select All from the white dropdown to move all Assets & Asset Types into the grey reporting field to report on entire fleet.

Step 4 - Notified People

Select the Users to receive the Report via email.

  • Select User from the dropdown options
  • You can select up to 4 Users to receive the emailed Report
  • Save the Report
