FleetParts - Manage Parts via Work Orders

Use Work Orders to assign Parts & manage stock levels.  Assign parts to Work Items within Auto Services or add them directly to a Work Order.

Add Parts to Service Schedules

See Auto Service schedule - Add Parts article for how to add Parts to service schedules
These parts will automatically appear in the Work Order items.  These parts do need to be assigned to the Work Order

Assign Parts to the Work Order Items

  • Go to Work Order 
  • Choose the correct Parts Store

  • Save
  • Click on the Work Item

  • Select the Supplier Part & Location form the dropdown options
  • Enter the quantity of Parts used
  • Click Assign

  • Save
This will adjust the stock levels of the Part.

Add Parts to the Work Item

If a Work Order is not a scheduled service or there are no Parts assigned.
  • Click on Work Item

  • Click on Add Part

  • Use Filters to find required Part
  • Add Part & enter Quantity used
  • Click Apply

  • Select the Supplier Part & confirm Qty taken
  • Click on Assign
  • Save
This will adjust the stock levels of the Part
