TFO App - Fatigue Management - Guide

If you are a driver with a Fatigue profile, when you log into the TFO App on your phone or tablet, you will see an information bar on the home page, at the bottom of the screen that will assist with you work/rest status through out your day.

Home Screen Messages

Sign In & Work: Sign on by swiping key fob and start driving for the day.  The tracker will beep when ignition is detected.  Once signed on the tracker will stop beeping & light will flash green.

In the TFO App on the Home page, you will see a working tab with a timer to show how long until your next break to the closest hour.

Break Due: 30 mins before your break is due, the red light on the tracker will blink & beep 3 times in 3 seconds. The App will display Next break In message.

The first break has to be at least 15 minutes.

The Asset cannot move during this time or the counter will start again.

Your break cannot be broken up. It is a 15 minute solid block of time.

Start break: Press the rest button on the tracker while Asset at a stop.  The information bar in the App will change and show you are on rest.

The light on the Tracker will change to green when enough time has passed for an acceptable break

End break: Press the rest button or drive off

Fatigue: If you do not take a break within the 30 minute warning phase, you will move into Fatigue.

The tracker will emit a constant beep for 2 minutes and the light will be red. After 2 minutes, the beep will stop but the light will stay red.  The TFO App will display a message instructing you to Take Break Now!

The App will then count into negative numbers to show how long has passed since your break was meant to be taken.
