Use General Settings in FleetMaint to customise The Fleet Office to your specific requirements.  

  • Click on Settings from the Dashboard

Require signature on work orders?

If ticked, when closing Work Orders Users will be required to sign.

Job Priority Required?

Ensures a Job Priority is selected before closing a Work Order

Root Cause Required?

Ensures a Root Cause is selected before closing a Work Order

Fitters Required?

Ensures a Fitter is assigned to a Work Order before closing

Turn on Auto Service creation

Once Auto Servicing is set up, tick box for Work Orders to auto generate.

Light vehicle services should be created:

Set how many kms before service, Work Orders will generate for Auto service schedules that are set to D for distance.

Heavy vehicle services should be created:

Set how many hours before service, Work Orders will generate for Auto service schedules that are set to H for hours.

  • Ensure you save any changes

Work Shop Hours

Set your Workshop Hours to allow for ease of Work Order Scheduling.

Job Priorities - Cost Codes - Hazards - Parts - Root Causes

Create Items to match your servicing requirements

  • Use the Add Item, edit & delete functions to customise.

Job Priorities

Use Job Priorities to filter Work Order searches, and schedule Work Orders.

Prestart, Routine Service & Warranty are system generated priorities and cannot be removed or edited.

Cost Codes, Hazards & Parts

These categories can be applied within the Work Order

Root Causes

These are a great tool to use to see what is occurring within your fleet.  See Statistics for a visual representation.
